Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors

Here you will find all the shows reviewing the entire series of Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors.

During each show Nero, Naomi and Marc look at 5 episodes of JWW and give our thoughts. There is also a google doc which lists all the uses of Jayce's Ring Of Light (aka the Deus Ex Machina of the series).

The intro music for the show an amazing remix of the intro to JWW was done by DJ Soul Machine please check out his YouTube channel and Bandcamp for more amazing tunes!

PR-13 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 1, Episodes 1-5)

Hey Folks,

Nero and Naomi are joined again by Marc this week to start our long journey to review the entire series of Jayce & The Wheeled Warriors. A favourite and often forgotten cartoon of the 80's.

It's a bumpy ride of quality over the first 5 episodes, from excessive info dumping to the ongoing mcguffin extravaganza that is the ring of light. A lot of fun over all, especially as Marc has vowed to connect all 80's cartoons into some kind of shared universe.

A fun show as always so check it out.

P.S. Sorry about the bits of choppy audio from Marc. Discord was playing silly buggers but have it fixed for the next episode.

PR-18 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 2, Episodes 6-10)

Hey Folks,

Nero and Naomi and Marc are back again with the next installment of our Jayce And The Wheeled Watchalong

Much better 5 episodes than the first 5 overall and some more great mcguffin action from the ring of light, and of course Monster Minds being rather pants at everything.

A fun show as always so check it out.

As always thanks to DJ Soul Machine for letting us use his awesome remix in the intro, be sure to check out his links below for more kick ass music.

P.S. Once again sorry about Marcs audio, his new mic hadn't arrived by then but will be fixed in the next episode.

PR-20 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 3, Episodes 11-15)

Hey Folks,

Nero and Naomi and Marc are back with episode 3 in our ongoing quest to figure out what is the point of the magic root in Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors

A fun 5 episodes, on par with the last batch but some wildly varying animation styles throughout. This time the boys in the Lightning League get to talk to girls.

A fun show as always so check it out.

Also once again thanks to DJ Soul Machine for letting us use his awesome remix in the intro, be sure to check out his links below for more kick ass music.

PR-21 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 4, Episodes 16-20)

Hey Folks,

The New Lightning League (Nero, Naomi & Marc) are back again this week with even more Wheeled Warriors action.

Another fun 5 episodes where the boys of the Lightning League all try to get some, well except Gillain who resorts to child torture instead. Of course we have more trap goodness throughout these episodes, starting to think Saw Boss can only think in traps.

A fun show as always so be sure to check it out.

PR-23 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 5, Episodes 21-25, kinda)

Hey Folks,

Nero, Naomi and Marc back again with more Lightning League escapades.

Need to start with a correction, last time we reviewed episode 25 as episode 20 so this time round we cover the actual episode 20, Deadly Reunion.

A fun batch of eps this time, we seem to be getting tantalisingly close to Audric but I am sure it won't last as soon a Jayce heads of target for some shiney thing.

A fun show as always so check it out.

PR-26 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 6, Episodes 26-30)

Hey Folks,

Nero, Naomi and Marc back again with more adventures of Jayce and his crew of liabilities.

This is the second recording of this episode as the original got corrupted in post, and in re-watching the episodes we picked up on a few more points which is why this is a longer episode.

This is a really fun show, in reviewing the episodes we muse on what Flora might eat and thusly what the main meat is the Pokemon world. We also talk about the real life monster mind, a plant from Australia (because all nature that wants to kill you comes from there) that really can f*** you up.

Another fun batch of eps this time, and we get an even closer call of Jayce catching up with Audric, he actually holds Audrics root in his hand.

A fun show as always so check it out.

PR-28 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 7, Episodes 31-35)

Yo Peeps,

Back once again with Nero, Naomi and Marc (the new new Lightning League it turns out) for more galaxy spanning adventures with Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors.

This is another long episode as there was a lot to unpack here. We have more Star Wars alogories including another visit to a Tatooine-esque planet and some back story on the original Lightning League.

We also have the first 2 parts of a 5 part EPIC span of JWW episodes.

A bloody fun show as always so check it out.

PR-29 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 8, Episodes 36-40)

Lightning Strikes Again!!!

Nero, Naomi and Marc are back with more Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors action. This time brining a close to Liberty Stone saga (thank christ!) and moving on to a couple more episodes.

The last 3 episodes in the Liberty Stone saga where a slog to watch and kind incomprehensible with the Plot but still funny as all hell to talk about.

Despite some janky animation in these episodes, overall a good batch and a fun time as always. So check it out.

PR-30 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 8, Episodes 41-45)

Lightning Strikes Again!

Nero, Naomi & Marc are back once more with fun wheeled warrior escapades. Very much in the back half of the series now with only 4 more shows till we finish the series.

This is a good bunch of episodes with a couple of stand outs and no Ring of Light usage to be seen.

A fun time as always so check it out.

PR-31 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 9, Episodes 46-50)

Well well well, we're in the final stretch after this only 3 more shows till we will have completed this re-watch and review of Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors.

Nero, Naomi and Marc back again to bring you another run down of 5 JWW episodes, some real good times in these episodes, and some real understanding of science by the Lightning League.

A fun time as always so check it out.

PR-33 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 10, Episodes 51-55)

It's Wheeled Warriors Time!!

Nero, Naomi and Marc are back again after a couple fo weeks to start brining the Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors saga to a close.

Only 2 more shows left after this one till we come to the end our journey (and therefore Jayce's).

We have 5 more fun epsiodes to review this time, including questionable sounds from Flora, nightmare fule carebare rip offs and an entire circus planet.

A fun show as always so check it out!

PR-34 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 11, Episodes 56-60)

Well well well, here we are the penultemat epsiode of the Jayce & The Wheeled Warriors review saga.

Nero, Naomi and Marc back again weith a review of another 5 epsiodes of JWW. 2 really good ones, 3 that are bitg meh but still funny. Although 1 episode has some very questionable morals/views when it comes to disabled people.

It's a fun show as always so check it out!

PR-35 - [RETRO]: Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Review (Part 12, Episodes 61-65) THE FINALE

Welcome people to the final ride at journey's end (take 2).

Nero, naomi and Marc back to round of our epic journey through all of Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors.

Sorry about the delay we had to re-record the epsiode due to some technical issues with the first recording.

Nevetheless we are here at the end, unfortunately a mixed bag of epsiodes. Some good some not so, and the final episode ends on a really heavy note for a kids cartoon of the 80s, with suicide.

Depsite this its a fun shows as always so join us for this final jaunt.
